After looking at the website, are you feeling that our squadron would be the right place for you? The next step is to come along to a recruitment evening (held twice a year) and see the squadron for yourself!

On a recruitment evening, we aim to give you a taste of what being a cadet at 1476 is like, what opportunities you will have, what you will get to experience and you will get a chance to ask the staff and cadets any questions you may have.

The night will begin with a short presentation from the cadet NCOs, followed by usually a small speech by the squadron’s Officer Commanding. Then the NCOs will show you around the squadron, and demonstrate some of the many activities we take part in as part of the RAFAC and 1476 Squadron (you can find out more about these from the pages on this website).

The main criteria is that anyone joining the RAFAC as a cadet must be 12 or older and in year 8 or higher.
